Hello all, Im just wondering if theres ever anyone out there in the DFW metroplex that goes off shore fishing and has a spot avlible for a trip I could fill? I love to go off shore fishing but im lucky if I get to go once a year and thats normally with the family and I go on the party boat by my self. I could and would pay my way and cover my cost to be a part of a trip. I got to go last weekend to port aransas and went out on the scat cat , caught a 21lb black fin tuna, 2 nice kings and a hand full of vermillion snapper. I want to go back again but dont see it happening unless im alone again, thats only so much fun if you know what I mean. Thanks guys.

Just a couple words of advise. If you get an invite be the first to volunteer to buy ice, water, food, snacks, beer, cokes, and/or bait.
When you return be the first to volunteer to pay for gas. Don't go home until the boat and gear is cleaned up and stowed away. Jump in and help clean.
Bring your own filet knife and freezer bags and help clean the fish, dividing everything evenly among everybody. Doesn't matter if you caught the fish, share it.
Little things like that will earn you 2nd and 3rd and 4th invites back. If you choose not to then don't expect a 2nd invite.

Your absalutly right, and I do agree with all of of that and thats the normal for me anyways im just that kind of guy. I have gone alone many times and still can but its just not as fun as it would be as if im with a group, allso I would love to go out on a more of a private charter vrs the party boats. Just wanting to try new things I guess.

nice blackfin. contrary to some opinion, I find them quite tastey.
Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?
