I hated to see Butcher get the penalty today. His season went down the tubes in 11 minutes. He is such a cool cat. I, personally, could not have composed myself the way he did on stage. My hat is off to him for being such a great fisherman and a great sport! Class is class and he is at the top of it. Best of luck next year.

came in 11 minutes late for check in. Apparently he thought he was in the 4 o'clock flight but actually was in the 3:45

Yikes....man I couldn't imagine the intense pressure those guys are faced with during competition. I feel for him.

I did the same thing at BWS regionals last year. It cost me a trip to nationals and I was SICK about it. He fishes for a living so I know he feels 100 times worse!!
