Is it still around, OK? I'm trying to get my reservation for the FLW Everstart and saw it is close to launch. Website isn't working. Thoughts? Any other cabins or hotels without going to Longview or Jefferson? thanks.

Lake O' The Pines Lodge may have some rooms. There is not lots of places to stay around the lake. If it was me I would stay n Longview.

You better sleep in your boat, on top of your rod box, if you stay at Tejas. From what i hear, they will rob you blind over there.

Longview is just down the road....25 minutes from lake.

Best selection of hotels....good ones and bad ones! LOL!

Stay away from Hwy 80 hotels.....LOL!

Nice Hotels are around Hwy 259 and the Loop 281.

I don't know much in Jefferson.....and it's 15-20 mins away from the lake.

Plenty of Corp Campgrounds if you camp or RV.

Try this place . should have info on all cabins and rooms.

This is just a BIG IF.. If there was lake front cabin with 2 bedrooms 2 baths, 1 king size bed in separate part of den and a trundle bed, place could sleep 8 folks if ya wanted to sleep together or 4 guys all separate beds. 2 decks, pier 85 ft long but not much water at the end now. central air works GOOD.
How much a place like this be rented for on a weekend like FLW or media tourney.

4 guys x 85 night = 340 a night I think. you could maybe get 400-450 a night.

Tejas village-903-777-2460 hotel and cottages. Marleys Bullfrog marina in johnson creek 903-755-2712-cabins and ramp, and 155 motel 903-968-3183 are a few places. Stayed at all in the past with no problems. I liked Marleys cabins the best however or listen to all above and drive to Longview, Jefferson, or whatever.

Got a cabin on pines. 50 acres, shop, central ac, gated entry, satellite tv, gas appliances, fridge full of beer, balcony and front porch. Sleeps 2 comfortably, 4 possible. No thieves, 5 minutes from launch. Can put boat and truck in the shop. Kinda pricey.......

I'd stay away from Tejas. There are a bunch of MHMR people that are housed there and weird/bad stuff is constantly going on. Our SO is always out there.

Two weeks ago we had a call of one person threatening other a group of people with a sword, the group had clubs and a idiot neighbor fires a shotgun near them to try to break up the party. Buckshot hit the water near people that were fishing by the marina.

Lake O' the Pines Lodge gets lots of drugs/drunks and fight calls.

No matter where you stay around the lake do not leave anything that can be stolen out!
