 How many 2 pound plus crappie do you catch in a year?

Be honest and if you did catch a 2 pound plus crappie, I am sure you will have a picture of each one, to share.

I've caught probably 5 or 6 this year. The biggest was 2.4 from Fork. If you ask James and Jeff this question they caught 7 in one day during CrappieMasters on Fork.
I hate those guys........LOL!

I always get a kick out of how many people say they catch 2 lbers all the time. Most people don't realize how big a 2 lb crappie really is. I check people all the time that say they have a 3 lber and I look in the livewell and it's a pound and a half to pound and three quarters. Had one guy swear he had a 3 lber one day and I told him it might go 2. I had some digital scales with me and weighed it for him and it was 1.98.  I've also heard the many stories of guys claiming they catch 19-20 inch crappie all the time

I have probably caught 200-250 or so crappie this past year.... I'd say 5 or 6 were over 2 lbs. None over 3

I'm gonna say one every 10-12 trips, but I primarily fish between mid April and mid summer. I think I caught 7-8 this year. ...and I do know what a 2 pounder really is.

On tawakoni its not that rare most of the fish I get are pretty thick I rarely weight unless it's real big, but I catch 2-3 a trip that go from 15-16 inches except here lately they have been tough to come buy. Don't know exact weights, but I usually guess most fish between 15 and 16 will go two unless they are skinny

Not many legitimate 2# fish. Texoma has a lot, Fork , LOP some. I've only caught two over 3# in my life.

Feel free to object if you dont think I know what a 2# looks like I know two or three a trip sounds like a lot. This one was from fork and measured right at 15.75" I weighed this one and it came out to 2.1#  These came from tawakoni that little guy in the corner was right at 10 and i would say 2-3 or so go right within the 15" range

I had two weeks in mid March that is not even worth talking about, because I'll be shot on sight and accused of blasphemy. It was unbelievable, and had I not been there, I wouldn't believe it myself.
