I can't fish for the strippers anymore. I don't have a rod stiff enough and they pull too damn hard.

Uncle Joe's I think was the name of the pork, is that right? Uncle Josh. One of the only pork rind trailers still made today. There used to be a bunch of derivations, metal flake in the jar (strike king), hair on the skin side, multi color options and two-sided coloration. These days, it's pretty much back to basics. My two favorite jig trailers from UJ are the #1 BIg Daddy Pork Frog and the Flippin" Frog. Dunno if they still make it, but the UJ Spring Lizard was good in the summer when a trailer with bulk and length was the choice. I have a question Fouzman why do you change at 50 degrees? We have had a ton of luck on a MPack jig and a hyper freak trailer in 45 degree water. I was just wondering what your thoughts are on the pork trailer?

Plastic tends to get stiff and lose some of the natural action in cold water. Pork does not. That's why I use pork when the water is in the 50's. Once it pops up to 58-60 degrees, I change to plastic.
Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

Uncle Josh spring lizard waterdog blk for cold weather deep water. Uncle Josh Jumbo Pork frog for piers, trees, cypress trees, Go to a craw worm for the warmer weather. I have been fishing like this for over 40 years. Once I put my parachute jig on the market, no one will buy a regular jig anymore.

Thanks for the replies, I was wondering if i needed to ask the question "Anyone know what the clicky button on the drivers side floor board up in the top left corner is for" to make sure i had targeted the right audience.

Well some of us even know what the larger round button to the right of the gas pedal is for...I was very young at that time but I still remember it. I pushed it and the truck was in gear. Scared the $#!+ out of me.

They don't need to feel it,they can see it and how real it moves or does'nt and make their decision to eat or not.
