I absolutely hate spiders. We've had a Wolf Spider outbreak around here and can't keep them out of the house. So after seeing 4 in a matter of about 30 mins, I set out on a mission to find all I could an get em. I managed to find several Brown Recluses in the process. 3 of 5 confirmed kills. Hope I get em all before they get to my kids.

lol Looked at the pictures before I read the whole post. Thought you had an outbreak of brown recluses and thought they were wolf spiders. Glad that's not the case!

lol....We've got the Wolf Spiders everywhere. Walk outside after dark and you'll see several running across the carport.
As for the recluses....If I find any more, I'll be taking a trip and the house will have fog coming out of the cracks....lol

This is rather unorthodox but I am pretty sure daddy long leg spiders will eat those guys. They are harmless towards humans. Release a few in your house and let them go on a hunting spree! hehe

About 15 years ago we got infested with brown recluses. We have never gotten rid of them. I can find one in the hosue or garage in under 5 minutes anytime I wont to. Any bites or close calls at your house Jared?

Jared, those are some really good pictures. My wife wouldn't sleep for months if I let her look at those.

Release a few in your house and let them go on a hunting spree! hehe Untrue. Daddylonglegs eat decaying plant and animal matter and, occasionally, small prey. They have no venom, however (because they are not spiders), and would not be able to subdue a brown recluse. They'd likely end up as dinner.

Go to the feed store and get some DEMON WP poison. It will take care of ALL of your bug problems. We had scorpions and brown recluse spiders show up at our new home. I treated them with Permethrin at first but when I went to get more the guy at the feed store said to try the Demond. That stuff works!

Plus 1.This is a commercial product that works.I cant believe we can still buy this over the counter. Go to the feed store and get some DEMON WP poison. It will take care of ALL of your bug problems. I got some Viper at our local Co-op yesterday. I believe that is the same product just under a different name. Have a 7 m/o, so no inside spray yet, but sprayed 1/2 the outside before it got dark. Have been averaging 5 to 10 Wolf spiders a night in the house. Did not see a single one last night.
