 What you never want to find in your livewell.....

When the first fish of the day joined us in the boat I asked one of the guys to open the livewell. One of them goes, "You know theres a snake in there?!?!?" WHAT????? I'm not afraid of snakes but I sure don't like them too much...especially when they're in my little bubble  This thing is a Diamond Backed Water Snake and isn't poisonous. Just little fish eaters. We tried to get him out alive but he just wouldn't cooperate so he met the end of a stick and went to the pond in the sky  Tell you what...you never saw some dudes run to the front of the boat so fast when they realized what they were sitting next to. One of the older guys actually wore 20" snake boots in the boat and he let the other guys know he was the smartest for wearing em. I tried to talk them into letting me fillet it for them but I believe their exact response would get me banned.

You could have turned the water on and floated him out. Of course it might have been a YouTube moment when he came out of that hole & hit the deck.....lol

Might have got one of them noodler guys to get him out!!lol!!heard they stick their hands in holes and don't know what's in em...at least they could see what they gettin into !!!

Use one of the rods...make a slip knot....catch snake with slip knot.... hold snake over side..... cut string----  Hey, sounds good on paper...
