I have a Hds 8 on the console and a HDS 5 on the bow. They are connected to a LSS-1. The bow unit when in down or side scan reads the LSS-1 transducer at the rear of the boat. Does anyone have any idea why when I have both units on down scan I get no source on the 8 and have the downscan on the five?

Yes, either the ethernet cable isn't connected or it is bad. Seems to be a frequent problem, ethernet cables that is.

After you check software.....try swapping the ethernet cables around to different ports to see if the problem follows the cable. It would be one way to confirm it is a cable issue or a faulty port on the LSS module.

They both have the curren software. I will swap the cables and see what happens. Thanks
