Went out yesterday evening with a buddy and found fish pretty easy. We caught a limit and headed to other spots with very little luck. The shad were thick as gravy around twin poles, but very few fish under them. I know if I would have stayed around the area, the Whites and Hybrids would eventually show up, but that is not my style. So, we looked at a couple other spots and got into them again. 1oz Godfather slabs (from Moestackleshop.com) and a fly above produced the best for us. We tried tail spinners from Moes and RSR, but had zero luck. I think the weather change and BP had them hugging the bottom and less active.

Caught a few on top early Monday, just north of twin poles. Didn't see a lot of anything going on after that on the surface and the birds were not diving. Anyone still having luck down by the main dam lately?

Great job fjackie!!! Some of our members in the LLFC have had real good outings and have posted on our website. You should join because we have some great people in the club that enjoy fishing too and a lot of friendships have been made. PM if interested. Been getting a lot of pm's today so should be able to get right back to you.

BlueNitro, nice highjack! Please see Rule #13

"13. Guides, fishing related businesses, and other web sites, feel free to promote your services here - the only exception to this rule is promotion of a site that is a direct competitor of the TFF or Texas Hunting Forum (THF). We consider the guides an asset to the site. If you don't agree with the use of guides, keep that information to yourself. If a guide is just posting his service, inviting you to check out his web site, let him do so. Hopefully down the road he will offer a few pointers. Guides offer a wealth of information and we want them visiting the site on a regular basis."

It was an invite to our club and we do not compete with the TFF in anyway. We are just a club of friendly people who enjoy fishing and post our information, tips, and who's going on a seperate website. You should know what was on it because you were on it before I removed you from the LLFC.

If any mods would like to see if the LLFC website is any type of competition, pm me and I will let you see it. I don't believe he is a mod but would welcome any real mod to take a look at it. Pretty similar to the Ray Hubbard Fishing Club and/or Sportsman Club.

I can't even find a website for the LLFC on any of the search engines. I would check it out, but I doubt it would replace the TFF. Heck, I think the LL Fishing Forum folded from lack of use.

BTW BlueNitro...Thanks for the pat on the back for my 2 top water fish, but reading post from guys like You, Don, PittState, and Holzer makes my catch seem pretty pitiful. Besides, I only caught them because I saw a few birds head north and followed them to the boat show.

I was actually talking about a website called the "Lake Lewisville Fishing Forum" It was a TFF type of site but no one ever posted on it. I've seen posts on the TFF to join the LLFC, just don't have much interest in fishing tournaments.

Are you pulling his leg? The only thing I have ever seen schooling over there is carp.

I sent you a pm which is easier than long winded typed messages.

Do you have to be in the club to view the website?
