All right boys let er fly.
I have a daughter at DBU and it seems a trip or two to the Metroplex this fall. I can only shop so many times before I will need a trailer just to hold the fishing gear.
I want to fish a time or two and need the fine input from the more experienced fishermen in the DBU area. Exclude Fork as that is a given. I can't afford too many trips with tuition so what will be the second lake choice?
As always thanks for the help.

I'm on the bass club at Dbu, mountain creek lake, which I across the street from the school has a ton of fish in it. Joe pool, 15 minutes from Dbu, also can be a lot of fun. If you want to go to fork its about 1 1/2 - 2 hour drive from dfw. There is somewhere close to 30 lakes maybe more that are within a 30-40 minute drive from Dbu.

My oldest granddaughter just got moved into DBU yesterday.
Tbo12, A TON of fish in Mountain Creek? REALLY? I've never heard anyone talk about MC before...hhmmm..

Mountain Creek is on the polluted list from the closed down military base. That may be why nobody talks about it.

Jerry I may drag my boat but would rather fish with someone that knows how to fish or perhaps a guide.
I have not done well in warm water. Bass are a mystery to me but will learn for sure.
Thanks for all the help
