I mean they look just like a pet shop ferret that escaped and lives along the rocks but are they actually minks or something else?

They are minks, I have seen them at Kiowa, ray Roberts, and lewisville this year. I just noticed them 2 years ago at Kiowa, now I would bet there are over a hundred see a couple every time I go out. I have noticed they are always around rocks.

Minks are semi-aquatic

They're minks. Minks look a lot like ferrets. Nutria look a lot like beaver except for the tails. Minks all over the rocks in a lot of lakes in N. Texas.

Gobs of 'em at Ray Hubbard. They don't even glance at the boaters anymore.
