Howdy anglers! Went out today and the bite was on fire. Caught +-30 fish in a span of 4 hours with fish ranging from Spotted bass, Smallmouth bass(first one I've ever seen in the creek), Largemouth bass and some nice chunky Redbreast. Caught lots of quick throwbacks and saw tons of Rio's but they didn't want any. Gulp shad and relatively new fishing spot was the trick, you could have thrown a bottle cap and they were likely to come out of the nest and strike it.

Here is the 18.5 inch(3.4 pounds) Largemouth that I caught. Put up an epic fight on the 2 footer-

Smallmouth hybrid of some sort(really small mouth).

Chunky 8inch Redbreast(fought way harder than the small bass)-

Thanks Banker, Rootfish, and Gitter Done for the replies! I worked up stream into a spot beyond CNC, stayed in the creek to not strike up any unwanted attention with property owners. I worked all the way up to the hgwy 46 bridge that goes over the creek.

Very nice CD! thumb Creek fishing is some of the most fun fishing out there. Are you wading, walking the bank or paddling? If you're in the creek bed, you should be within the law. I love seeing what's around the next bend when small river, creek and stream fishing. Keep at it kid! cheers
