Originally we were planning to go offshore to fish for AJ's and tuna but the seas were too rough. We ended up staying about 1-2 miles off land and fished a sanbar. The bull reds were THICK. Caught 9 within two hours, then the storms moved in so we headed back to the camp. Might be the best 2 hours of fishing I ever had! grin Very fun fishing even though we didn't go offshore. Here's a few pics:

We were using whole crab. Just pinched off the muscle part of the the claw, not the whole thing. It was tough not to pick up the rod right away when you got a bite and set the hook. You had to let them take it for a long time until the circle hooks got em.
