Which ones to get?
St. Croix Legend Xtreme or St. Croix Legend Tournament Bass or Lamiglas Excel Bass rods??
The 2012 models look really good.

Personally, I favor St. Croixs, and the line that I most favor is the Legend Elite series. I prefer the guides of the Elites (Fuji® SiC Concept Guide System with titanium-finished frames.) to that of the Xtreme series (REC® Recoil® guides), and of course the Elites are a higher end rod than the Tournament series (Fuji® K Series Concept Guides with Alconite® rings).
You get the same blank in both the Xtreme, and Elite series rods. Other that the difference in the color of these two series of rods, the main two differences are the guides and the cork/handles. I happen to prefer traditional cork, and reel seats, etc. on my rods. Again, I believe that the SiC Concept Guides are the best offered on any St. Croix rod series.

Above all else hold these two things in the greatest of circumspection; government and self. YOLO=Schiefspiegler
