i subscribe to the EP/GS(Ernest Paty/Guy Skinner) theory: whatever i grab first out of the box and impale on the jig hook, usually a 1/32nd or 1/16th oz(in my case, EP/GS use bigger ones on occasion) with an UNPAINTED jig head!
Works for me!!!

Hands down it is a Black/chart body with a 1/8oz Pink jig head. You will ALWAYS see this rigged on at least one of my poles.

I especially like Roadrunners as well, especially 1/32 Oz ones. I mostly use that Spring and Fall. If the water is a bit stained I prefer Chart/Blue/Chart even over Black and Chart. Have converted a few old timers here on Toledo Bend the last few years. After it clears to the point I can see the jig 3' down in the water I go to one of two colors. One is SIlver/Blue/White or Silver/Silver/Blue.
Have at least one customer on Toledo Bend that will only buy and use Silver/Blue/white and likes it so much sees no reason to try anything else, LOL!
Different time different colors will out fish another and of course that just depends on the fish. Sometimes a Chart/Black/Chart will out do a Black/Black Chart.
Peak Vise Dealer Tying Materials, Chenille and Hackle For Pictures of my Crystal, Nylon/Rayon or New Age Chenille Please PM Me! Also I have the Saltwater Neck Hackle and some colors of Marabou plus other things![/color]
