From my not so professional view, it appears to be a small hybrid.... nice fish guys.. that last one is a toad.

I feel there is a learning opportunity here for all. It is my belief that all four fish are hybrids and I think the game warden would agree. Definite dark broken lines with at least three lines extending all the way to the tail on all of them. JMHO. The tooth patches can be very difficult to read for me anyway. Not trying to stir the pot, but it would be an expensive couple of tickets, and I would not wish that on any angler that felt like he or she were actually doing the right thing. People that keep undersized fish knowingly, I say throw the book at them!

I don't care how long he has been fishing he doesn't know the difference. I don't need to see a tooth patch or DNA test to tell you that is a hybrid.

Frank I'm not even sure you kept the fish in question. I do know every fish was measured and the tooth patch checked and the short hybrids went back into the water. The one in the pic may well have been released but it's been fun listening to the peanut gallery.

Frank I'm not even sure you kept the fish in question. I do know every fish was measured and the tooth patch checked and the short hybrids went back into the water. The one in the pic may well have been released but it's been fun listening to the peanut gallery.
