I posted this on the Hybrid section cause that's where I normally hang out. I thought you guys might enjoy the pics and give me an idea of how much it might weigh? It was 5'11", but I didn't get a girth measurement. More pics on the whites/hybrids section.

Great job on CPR. I'm sure that 1 of the gar guide could give you a better weigh estimate than me, so I won't even try.

Thanks. I caught it on a cotton cordell slab using 15lb trilene big game. Falcon cara and shimano curado. I have to say all the equipment held up remarkably well, but my arms a bit worse for wear.

I hooked it in a perfect spot. The only thing that was in his mouth was one of the three hooks on a #4 treble hook. If he had gotten the whole thing in his mouth, Im sure he would have cut the line. It took an hour and 40 minutes to get it in.
