Attacking me still won't make the fish 15 pounds either.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.

That fish looks everything over 13. Pics don't ever do a fish justice, I would know. Every KVD wannabe on here is gonna put you down, but that's a hell of a fish.
You know the old saying
If it floats, flys, or f___s it is always cheaper to rent!
You have to decide which is more important.

Hoosier unfortunatly your oportunity to nail down that fishes weight has passed you by and no ammount of grocery shopping or weight lifting is going to resolve that. Get yourself a good set of scales so that next time you'll know what your fish comes in at. Formulas to estimate a fishes weight are just that, an estimation. I have seen them be pretty darn close as well as way, way off.

Good fish yes 15 plus there ain't no way. Some of these people on here are nuts especially one inpaticular bank fisherman that's always poppin off. You missed your oppurtunity to really know so there's no point in wondering now you would have to go with certified scale wieght and that's it and honestly that looks about right damn good fish be proud of it and forget the rest.

Hoosier,
I just noticed you used a sewing tape to measure her. This is not meant to bash you in any way but if you took the tape and held it at her nose and went up & over the fish to the tail like I've seen guys do, it would add almost 2" to her length. I caught a 15# fish earlier this year and it was long at 27 inches. Not saying yours wasn't 28.5 but that is indeed abnormal for a bass.
Ignore the haters on the forum. A 12.76 is a GIANT!! 99.9% of all bass fishermen will never see a fish of that size in their lifetime much less catch one. Be proud of it.

Don't take this as being rude because it sounds that way but it's not intended to. Thats a nice fish for sure but def no way it's 15, I'm suprised it went 12.76, you must have huge hands and she must been plum full of eggs. Call it what you want 12 or 13 nobody else really cares what it weighed except you. Yea, I agree. From looking at the 9lber in the same post, it looks a lot thicker at the ends than your sow full of eggs. Bringing my mind closer to the 12.76 You had an excellent day catching both those Hawgs! Congrats and end this debate for your own peace of mind!
