I am in the market for a new rod and was looking at 3 different ones. One is the Wright & McGill Blair Wiggins Flats Blue, or the American Rodsmiths Croaker Smoker, or a Falcon Coastal Gulf Spin. If anyone has had any experience with any of these any info is appreciated.

What are you wanting to do with it? Sling meat, jigs, topwaters?

I would mostly be fishing jigs and topwater. I use bait some but not nearly as often. I mostly wade fish and was just looking for a good saltwater rod. I mainly fish freshwater and have alot of bass gear but was looking to buy some gear I could set aside just for saltwater.

Man my most successful rig was a bass setup. Heck I'm using bass reels still.
People are probably going to get sick of me saying this, but I picked up an All Star Classic Coastal Special and a H2O Mettle reel on sale on Father's Day, and have been quite happy with it. I don't wade much so it might be a little long for that, it is 7'6" and a buggy whip, but throws light artificials quite well.
I also picked up basically the same rod in 7ft spinning, 17lb max line class, 1/4 to 5/8 lure class, it tosses weightless shrimp and other similar lures very well. I paired it with an Old Penn Captiva spinner, about 4000 series.
I have a bunch of bait chunkers, Most of which are a little on the heavy side for holding all day though. The two I use the most are.
8ft MH Ugly Stick Catfish rod, paired with a Penn 6600 SS reel.
7ft Mh Ugly Stick paired with a Penn Pursuit 5000 series reel.

Abu Garcia has a new inshore rod series coming out in Sept/Oct called the Volatile Inshore...I read some good reviews.

I have a 2pc Shimano Voltaeus 7'0 M spipnning rod (VTS70M2), it is rated for freshwater, but I use it for salt with a 3000 series older Shimano Carbomatic reel. Nice fast action for light bait (shrimp) or lures 1/4oz up to 5/8oz, and I have used with popping corks too. Line rated 6-15lb with cork handle. I got it BPS, but it is cheaper online probably. Can't say anything bad about it. This is a different model Voltaeus (6'6" MH), but seems it can hold its own

I have had about 10 different rods over the years, and the BEST I have ever used is by a company called Airrus. Along with being the best rods, they come with an unlimited lifetime warranty, and when I needed a replacement guide I called up the manufacturer and actually spoke to the owner of the company who shipped me a replacement for free! I think the Airrus Co-Matrix might be the best fishing rod for any application. They are constantly innovating and winning best in show awards. I use a medium heavy rod, and I can tell you, it is extremely powerful. Bull Redfish, Bass, Pike, nothing stands a chance! here's a great review: http://www.tackletour.com/reviewairrusas66m.htmland a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQowOj1zhAw

Just bought a Wild Green Carrot by e21. The one with the red wrap is meant for redfish, the gold wrap for trout. They are super sensitive. Both are 7ft. The red one is med-fast action, medium rod.
