Misguided
Llano County game warden and a Lampasas County game warden were patrolling Lake LBJ when they stopped a fishing guide. The guide has been known to keep undersized fish in the past, and after a quick water safety inspection the wardens inspected an ice chest full of fish which included some that were undersized. The wardens took the guide and fish onto their boat and measured all the fish. They found eight undersized crappie and one undersized black bass. Citations were issued and all the fish were seized.

They should know the rules best in my opinion...would be upsetting if the client had to pay the wrath!

Guides should set the example!

All fishermen are legends in their own minds! Ranger Boats, Yamaha Outboards, Humminbird Electronics,Motor guide, and all the tackle in the world.

Post his name. No more clients may be more expensive than the ticket.

If it's a close call, I use my checker.... no telling how many 9 and 15/16th fish that I have released..

That must have been a very unpleasant moment for the guide and his clients.

LBJ has a lot of undersized crappie in it,but my guide trip on Friday had 38 keepers, with many fish over 12", and one very nice crappie that went 1.9 LBS and probably 15".

Skip's latest creation of a jig with plastic skirt material combined with hackle, worked great!
Thanks Skip, I caught a bunch on that jig, including the 1.9 pounder, my personal best on Lake LBJ!

I'm always in a good mood when I'm fishing.

great idea , then only his fellow game thieves would hire him and save some decent fishermen the embarrassment of knowing they support such a person.

Wonder if his clients paid him/her after such an embarrassing and costly moment?

Keep on fishing.
