Prayers Sent to all involved in the tragedy. Being in college right now, I can relate to this because I know so many people that make the same decisions routinely, whether it be a car or a boat. I hope this opens a few peoples' eyes in the fact that a few questionable decisions by one person can effect the lives of so many others. I'm praying for all of you effected by this accident.

i really hate that this happened. alcohol was involved and there was a death. it only makes one mistake to ruin the lives of several people and or families. some things you can never change and get a do over on. use this tragic happening to yourself and not repeat this. i know these people. it should never happen. please if you are going out any time to be cautious and dont drink and drive whether it is a car or boat. lives can not be brought back and jail time is surely not worth it. prayers go out to all involved, heaven knows the families and friends of all are really going to need it. There was a death? I havent seen that and he has only been charged with assault so far unless they just haven't updated it...

Sad indeed,, prayers for all involved.
being in the public safety bizz for over 20 years, I can tell you most "accidents" are not truly accidents, but the result of a one or more bad decisions... I was thinking that....its all in decisions. Sad deal for sure

Think back when you were that age. There for the grace of God go all(or most) of us. Used to be real big on street racing when I was that young. Car ran on gasoline and I ran on alcohol.....I know there were times in my life at that age when God had to reach down and grab me by the shoulder and and say "not today boy" I'm not ready for you to come home just yet.....

I've know the guy my whole life, I don't believe he was too drunk to remember names. I could see the crash having him in shock and not remembering. Anything is possible though. He is in jail and nobody I know has talked to him. Shock could definitely have been a factor and his BAC will show one way or another. He'll beat himself up for the rest of his life in addition to what ever punishment he gets. Thoughts for friends/family affected by this accident.
