I got an hds8 from BOE marine off bassboatcentral much cheaper than anywere else I could find.

...heard yesterday that the HDS7 Gen2's aren't going to be produced anymore until they resolve the issues that they have had with them. Is this the case just with the 7's or are more models effected by this?

Is this the case just with the 7's or are more models effected by this? Sorry, but that person gave you wrong information. All HDS are all in production and there not any major issue that would stop production on the HDS 7 or any other HDS units.
