Flood Warning The National Weather Service In Austin/San Antonio Has Issued A Flood Warning For The Rio Grande At Del Rio. From This Evening To Tuesday Morning...Or Until The Warning Is Cancelled. At 8:15 A.M. Thursday The Stage Was 1.7 Feet (0.5 Meters). Flood Stage Is 4.0 Feet (1.2 Meters). Minor Flooding Is Forecast. Forecast...The River Is Expected To Rise Above Flood Stage Of 4.0 Feet Or 1.3 Meters Each Evening For The Next Several Days Due To Releases From Lake Amistad For Power Generation. The River Will Then Drop Below The Flood Stage Early Each Morning. I have heard they suspend and I have caught them tight to cover during a draw down. Who knows really....but you can't catch anything without a lure in the water. Lake Fork Mafia

Flooding below Del Rio would certainly add to Falcon but I think Amistad will hold on to water unless they are anticipating a weeks long rain event.
