i also will be out there for the first time next weekend. Is there anything that would not be on a navionics chip that i need to worry about on the lake?

Pretty safe lake. If you follow the buoys you have nothing to worry about. If you put in at south d&d watch out for the point that goes out when your driving out keep left.

Grew up on pk.Fished it for the first time in over 10 years in March during a tourny and it reminded me of why I loved it.Glad to see the lake finally getting some recognition.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Don't need specific spots just an idea of what to throw out there. I will have two of my little cousins out there that are both in 5th grade.

had some luck with squarebills early, then senkos a little later, if you can keep the sandbass from bothering you. All our fishing is in Caddo. Good luck.
