Does anyone know why they never show the payouts on the website?
Just curious.

The payouts are just fine! I have fished several events and have had no issue with any payout.

They put some on the facebook page with the photos payouts are similar to the media, the more that show up the bigger the payouts. It's a good trail.

I fished a BLT bigfish tourny on Hubbard Creek in 2010 and won what I thought at the time was a $200 gift card. I did not use the card personally being I swapped it with my uncle that fished the tourny with me. Well, couple months later he goes to use it and it is only a $100 gift card. I would have liked to have seen some payout results for that tourny just for that fact.

Why would you fish a tourney and don't know the payout?

It's a software problem with scale system they use that the software designer has not supplied the fix for yet. When you see payout numbers on some results it's because Bryan Davis (469) 995-7808 and/or Chris Davis (214) 616-5693 put them in manually. Give them a call they will be happy to explain it in more detail.

The BLT always pays back 80% on all division and championship tournaments. They actually pay back more than 80% with cash and prizes, and that's not including boat manufacturers' incentives or other sponsor's bonus programs.

The BLT operates on 20% of entry fees, and passes 100% of all sponsors' money and prizes to the anglers.

I am out of town right now, but I wanted to give a few payout samples for everyone to see.

Like bus driver stated above, we always pay back at least 80% of collected entry fees at every division tournament. At 30 teams we start paying two big bass places, and at 70 teams we change from a 1 w/ 5 payback to a 1 w/ 7 payback. The payouts are determined directly from how many teams fish, always using the same 80% benchmark.

We also payout $75,000 in our Region Championships (three tournaments with a $10,000 grand prize, and one tournament with a $45,000 Legend Boat/Mercury 200), and $90,000 in our Grand Championship (two $45,000 Legend Boats/Mercury 200's), that we do not factor into the percentage. The payback percentages for the championships are well into the hundreds of percent of collected entry fees. We pass %100 percent of our sponsor money back to our anglers.

Here is a payout example for 50 Entries

Big Bass 1 - $400.00
Big Bass 2 - $150 Value sponsor product
1st - $2,400.00
2nd - $1,200.00
3rd - $500.00
4th - $330.00
5th - $300.00
6th - $275.00
7th - $250.00
8th - $230.00
9th - $215.00
10th - $200.00 (or some combination of cash and sponsor prizes, which have a value of more than the cash)

I will be more than happy to add some more examples when I can get back to my computer.

Feel free to give me a call with any questions about payouts, whether it's from a previous tournament, or if you would just like an idea on a certain number of teams.

I don't think the payout is in question but why they are not posted.

Please dont take this in a Rude way by no means, I have never fished it but hope to do so someday. One of the Largest Companys going today which Sponsors about everything in the sun including Pro Football has its name associated with this Tourney Trail, I think it was said that 100% of Sponsor money is put back in. It seems like with Budlite the payback would be higher with 50 boats. Again do not take it the wrong way because heard nothing but good things but Budlite is a pretty big company.

As stated it is a software issue no conspiracy. The payouts are as good most of the local trails and Chris and the team run great tournaments.

Just wish they ran an individual trail as well.
