Look up Ruben at South Texas tackle in San Antonio. Great guy and he will order anything you need if he does not have it. He is located right across the street from Blossom Athletic Center.

Southwest Parts on W. Mockingbird in Dallas and also Fishing World on W. Lovers in Dallas. Both are excellent shops!

Just went to South Texas Tackle this weekend, it is a SWEET LITTLE SHOP. Especially the plastics they can get all sorts of stuff I haven't ever seen.
In the San Angelo area check out Field and Streams on the north side of town. Great shop
Jerry's shop at Elm creek on ivie is a great place too

The purpose of this topic is to create awareness to the importance of support your local economy. Buying local IS buying American! so when posting about the tackle shop of your choice, give us as much information about them as possible and remember the readers are from all over Texas and beyond, so we might not know where they are located or how to get I touch with them unless you tell us.
Please keep your comments upbeat and don't target anything negative. Thanks!

Austin. Jenson Fishing Tackle. The place looks old. Lot's of stuff including live bait. I think the owner is a retired doctor but not really sure. Check the last picture in the gallery for a of him with his dog. I haven't been there for a couple of years. The old man is a character and I hope he is still around. The place is cool. http://jensonfishingtackle.com/default.htmJenson Fishing Tackle 3601 West Parmer Lane P. O. Box 9587 Austin, TX 512-836-1788

Jumbolia was great today at TIGHTLINES, Killeen, TX. Local angler had a Birthday, wife came with all the trimmings, cake AND ice cream! . No hole hoppers were reported or duck tapped today, but plenty of interaction with local anglers to compare notes with and weed out the BS. Keith Combs stopped by as well. HOPE TO SEE NEW ANGLERS DROP BY NEXT WEEK,

Fishin' World on Lover's Lane in Dallas. They've got everything. +1 Key Puckett is good people and the man when it comes to answering fishing questions or for setting up a high performance bass rig including driving lessons. Also, Olsens in Lake Worth gets my money before the chain or web stores if they have what I'm looking for

Angler's Pro Tackle is inside Fun n' Sun boats on Hwy. 10 in Hurst. Lake Fork Trophy Lures in Emory. And not long ago I went to Padre with the fam and dragged the boat along to do a little fishing on Corpus and Laguna Madre. I stopped in Roy's tackle in Corpus just before you get to the causeway, and they are super great folks with an unbelievable selection.
