You need to get acquainted with the TFO folks - best folks around and I have known some of them for many years. cool

I sure didn't think any of those things about you, and I hope my post didn't come across as me being critical of you in any way. Tone doesn't communicate very well in typed words compared to face-to-face conversation, sadly. Hope my comment didn't come across wrong. smile

In re-reading your post I realize I misinterpreted what you said as being directed at me. My apologies. No harm no foul. Good game!!

I guess I missed something, and hope I didn't start something, but nothing I said was aimed at anybody.

GG - I know just about everyone at TFO, and they have been nothing but good to me. If they would let me sell their lines in my online "Fly Shop" I would carry their rods, reels and push poles for sure. Unfortunately, you have to have a brick-and-mortar to carry their lines.

Neither here-nor-there if they are reading Texas Fishing Forums, and since they don't retain an ad/pr agency, quite honestly, I bet they are a bit too busy to be doing so. There's shortcuts (to knowing what people are saying), but then that's what ad/pr people are paid to do.

Ohhh, a crack in the policy! Maybe I can get in! I have their push pole, and think I could sell those all day long. Great information.

I have also purchased TFO products from Burleson Fishing Company an On-line store.

There has to be something working right for a company to be as successful as TFO based solely on reputation and word-of- mouth advertising

Don't forget their heavy hitting pros! Clouser, Kreh and Pallot et. al. I think Lefty's philosophy of bringing fly fishing to the masses dovetails perfectly with the TFO business model.

That made me lol. And I am not a "lol" kind of guy.

Seriously though, that's an impressive achievement - congrats!

J.
