 Public Canoe Launch in Siminton for Brazos River

Anyone fish or launch from the public canoe launch near Siminton? I saw it last night on a bike ride and it looked like a nice section of the river to dump in on. Brand new to Kayaking so not real sure if I want to put in there for the first time without others around.

Where is Siminton? Lower Brazos?

Thanks I will put up over there. It is just north of Sugarland so I guess that would be considered lower Brazos.
