made it out to Bob Hall, set up in the gut, with no luck..
i moved my slide up to the middle of the T..the kings were defiantly around a few came out of the gut and a few hit the slides on the sides of the T..a sail boat flipped south of the pier, we decided to play it safe and call the coast guard..don't think anyone was hurt..be careful out there..
i got in Albert's yak and took some shark baits out, the surf was Rough!
while i was out there my tarpon i have been looking for hit my slide, didn't hook him again..got back on the pier and started fishing watermelon shad on the slide and chumming as many as i could catch..i got one net full that was near 20pounds of watermelon shad..missed three king runs on my Tarpon J hooks, then finally hooked up a really nice one, fought him all over getting tangled in everything, Albert gaffed it on the backside of the T, it almost got away a few times..

went 48 3/4 inches, gave it to a friend

was gonna go home but decided to rig up again anyway..got hooked up again in about 15 minutes..i let my little buddy Gage have at it on my rod..he whooped up on that king! took a few gaffs to get it on the pier..glad i let him fight and catch it pretty rarely do i see that kind of joy on others faces

went 41 inches, let him keep it for the table

i think 8 kings had been landed when i called it a day..3 or 4 of them were in the almost 50inch range..still looking for my first Texas Tarpon, gonna get it soon

Thanks for reading and watching..
Spread peace and love..
till next time..SharkBait out..:)
