Mr. Browne called and asked if I could help with the FFA staff's annual fish fry. I said sure how can I help? Well, can you take me fishing Saturday? I said, Mom's 75th birthday party is Saturday afternoon, but will give it a try for just a few hours, anyway. Off to Lavon we went. Fish seemed to have scattered in my absence and it was tough fishing. Hit 4 spots, caught all but one fish on three spots. 14' to 17' deep. Ended up with 35 keepers before we had to go.

Nothing beats involved parents, great job. On another note my football team needs some crappies for a fish fry, any suggestions?

thats awesome, im in the Joshua FFA Alumni,and we have a annual kickoff fish fry every august. Me and a couple of guys usualy provide all the fish and it is an awesome time! and beleive Ag parents are the most envolved of any school activity

I can't take credit for being an involved Ag parent. My girls went to a different HS and have graduated from college. I know Mr. Browne thru a good friend. His request was only a excuse for me to get back on the water.
