This is true... Gotta get out there and try your luck then report back. You told me in a PM that you thought you were familiar with all of Denton's fishing locations. With that being said, one would assume you knew of a number of places to fish in Denton. Go to one and report back your experience.

Better yet, go to your home lake and catch the biggest bass in it.
