My self and a buddy will have a beach house in Sargent, TX from 15-19 Aug....We both just got back from Afghanistan and really want to chase some Reds and Trout. Unfortunately we cant afford those crazy charter fees, $400 for a half day...smh. But we can afford like $150. If any one is heading out to Sargent to fish we make good company. I am a Combat Medic and my buddy is an Infantry man, so I can promise some good conversation.

I'd be honored to take you guys, but equipment failure has me down a few weeks. If you can get a chance to go next month look me up we'll go chase em down.

I would kill for a skilled local who wont bait my hook and will tell me to clean my own damn fish. I was stationed at Ft Stewart(06-09)near Sav,GA for three years and I went fishing for Reds and Trout almost every weekend, I wasn't in Iraq or in the field. On Ft Stewart you could rent a 18' Seahunt with a 115 Johnson on the back for $55 a day. I am telling you gents it was the highlight of my military career. I got hooked on fishing the ICWs. The beach house in Sargent has a small floating dock in the back with a light in the water so I will be able to catch some Trout, however it wont come close to being out on the water. If anyone anyone at all has plans to go fishing in the area I would love to go with. I am a 25 year old father of three and I have been in the Army for 6 years I have deployed to Iraq (07-09) and I have deployed to Afghanistan (17Sept11-24July12). I booked this beach house a long while ago as a family trip while I was in the Stan. I have been dreaming of fishing the surf and the ICW's for a while. Seriously if some one took me out I can not explain how great that would be for me. I will of course pay my way unfortunately I am on an army salary and I have a wife and three kids so I cant afford more then about $150. Thanks for listening to my pathetic plee. -SGT Jeff Buell If you want to get a hold of me this is my email and my phone number (915)637-0636 jeffry.c.buell@us.army.mil
