My son-in-law and myself went to Calaveras last night. In three hours we had 50 fish in the box. Had 2 blues about 6 pounds each. The 50 fish filled up my 100 quart icechest. No pictures. All fish caught on Big Marv's Cheesebait. For information anbout bait call me at 830 583-5913.

Sounds like a great trip.I have thought about heading that way many times. More than likley I would chase some reds too.I really miss Lake Fairfeild.I do not fish for channels as much as blues. May have to try some of your cheese bait sometime when I want to fill the freezer.

I swear by your "big Marv's" bait at Cali. I works well for me either from the bank or my little jon boat. Cliff Hill turned me on to it during a couple of trips with him at Cali. He calls it "catfish crack". I use it everywhere I catfish now.

It's good to hear the cats are biting. I figured the water was a little warm there. I'll be back to Cali in Oct Nov.
