Dang those are some nice fish. I here people talking about burning slabs but i have no clue what that means Casting a slab and letting it go to the bottom then retrieving it rapidly, frequently the slab guys will turn the crank on their reels from 5 to 10 turns and then release the spool and let the slab settle back to the bottom. Works great with flutter type spoons as well. Kahunas and Fiesta slabs work.

That sounds like a blast! So is Cooper relatively stump free compared to Tawakoni? Not sure where I want to adventure to next.

No stumps, just watch for shallow water on a few humps No stumps main lake but dont head West thinking its clear because their is 5 miles of timber on the west side of the lake.

Yes the west is all Timber! Never fished in it? They have boat lanes.

Couple of the humps are 5 ft of water on the tops in middle of lake. Lake is about 3 ft low. Keep eye on the graph and map. Im sure the water will continue to drop,that time of year.
