I am beginning to think all of you guys are longhorn fans and secretly give the 'Sooner' bogus info.
on the water around 6:45 started at roberton. nadda to the peanut. nadda worked the whole levee. nadda
saw one fish landed by a neighboring boat. not one single school on top.
it was pretty choppy. and i didn't bring my binoculars.... but i dont think they did their thing on top. i saw lots of boats zipping around from spot to spot looking for fish on the electronics like i was..... saw a couple of guys in different boats working their spots real hard. but as i idled around them checking little humps... i never saw them do anything.
a little rough early. about 7:30 the wind calmed. 17' aluminum boat is a rough ride out there sometimes.

As a Sooner fan from Tulsa I see it as highly suspect too! Just teasing!

I am supposed to take a friend and his little boy tomorrow night. I might wait for the weekend and take them in the morning.

Sorry to hear about that. Now I don't feel so bad. I was going to head out but the heat changed my mind.

No Longhorn fan here! Let's get that straight!
I do enjoy a good Squirt now and then.

The wife and I were out there in that same area from 7 till 8:15. We had to work to get 18 keepers on slabs. They never really did surface, guess the full moon had an effect.

We were near the rock jetty. We drift fish with slabs with just a couple of bounces off the bottom then rip the slab up. We started in 19' water and drifted up to 6'

I am sure I saw you guys. We tried drifting uphill on robertsons.... just no takers.
Likely needed to try some different presentations.
But I wasn't giving them a lot of time.... I was really expecting them to come up so I did more searching than fishing. a mistake that i have been known to make in the past.
