Mike Acosta with unfairadvantage charters is hard to beat when guiding Whitney, Benbrook and Lake Bridgeoport.

I bet Randy could put you on some fish at Whitney. If anyone can, it's him. Been out with him several times and we've always caught plenty of fish. I wouldn't waste my time fishing it without a guide, but the guides still seem to be pretty good. They tend to stay on top of them from day to day.

I made the mistake of hiring a guide not knowing any better. He told me he's been fishing Whitney for 22 years so I assumed he could find some fish. The other two guides I talked to out there weren't catching anything either. This was in April and from what I understand, the lake is still dead.
We caught 1 striper in 4 hours and I think we just happened to bounce the swim shad off it's head and made it mad so he bit it.
