I would like to see if you kind folks could recomend a crappie guide for Lake Fork?

My name is Tom and I spend a great deal of time crappie fishing in Missouri. I will be visiting my Daughter and Son in Law in Texas and would like to see if I can catch a few Texas crappie. I thought about bringing my boat but with limited fishing time I do not think it would be worth the extra gas money and that money would be better spent on a guide who knows the lake.

Thanks for any help.

Terry Moon is a long-time guide for crappie on Lake Fork. My wife and I have fished with her several times. She knows what she is doing and can catch fish. She doesn't have a web site but her number is 903-383-7773.

Hey Tom when are you gonna come down? You might have better results in the Fall/Winter/Spring for large numbers of crappie. Not that they can't be caught in the Summer but the numbers aren't always there and the heat is pretty rough especially if you are not use to it. Otherwise Fork is a fantastic fishery and the chances of catching a 2-3 lb'er crappie is very possible!

BTW Terri Moon's names pops up almost anyone ask about a guide on Fork.
