Hey everyone. I'm a teacher and have to head to back to work in a few weeks. No boat here and was wondering if someone might be able to point me in the right direction for some cats from the bank on Lavon or Hubbard. I'm a catfish novice and was just gonna get some range cubes to bait a spot and use punch bait. I've read some of the other posts on here and that seems to work for others. Not looking for anyone's honey holes or anything. Not sure what makes a good spot or how to choose one. Really just want to wet a line and catch a fish before the schoolyear starts up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The rocks on Hubbard at Robertson Park usually hold a few cats. I have not been in awhile but if you park at the public ramp and walk towards bass pro you should do good. If you don't get a bite in a couple of mins just move down a little ways.
