I was recently approached {via the TFF} by John Keith who is a writer with the Lone Star Outdoor News...He was looking for someone to do an article on Bass fishing in private golf course communities...Long story short, it worked out and I was fortunate enough to have his article be part of this months cover. Conner Harrison with LoneStar outdoor news did a write up on us back in May. they are a great bunch over there and if you never read the paper you are missing out . Great deal Ozzie !

I use to fish the Kingwood CC when i was younger along with other course ponds. Have caught some nice fish doing it. Most times we got kicked off, but it was worth it.

I always have a telescopic rod in my golf bag. Sometimes when my golf game sucks ill just fish.

Cool article. Thanks for sharing! My Aunt and Uncle used to reside @ Columbia Lakes(Golf course near Lake Jackson,TX) and every time I visited, my pole came with me. Huge Bass on the Ninth Hole they used to live behind. I rigged up a Telescopic Pole w/ a Live Bluegill for my Autistic cousin once while they were visiting: Nailed a 8 lber! That ad on the back page with the kid sitting on his dog while fishing.... Too funny!
