i parked at the mexican restaurant. they have lots of parking, and my guess is, since there are so many cars there, they will never notice yours, and it wont look out of place.

I fish it year round, never an issue with snakes. here is a list of fish I have caught from there, Bluegill and all perch of similar size, Warmouth the most fun perch ever in my book. Blue/channel cats, yellow bullhead catfish, and Lrgm bass. great spot for taking kids with worms or something they will always catch something

Its not about how deep you can fish but by how you wiggle your worm

but also I would never eat anything out of there, it is just strictly for fun catch and release

Add Crappie to that list too. I have caught about 50 of them so far but every sinlge one has been too small to keep, if I were to keep any. Why would you not eat anything from here? Do you know something I don't? Because I fish it all the time and was thinking about keeping some sunfish for a fishfry. There is also Long ear and Greenies by the boatload. I also happen to know that there is one particular Bass in this water and he is HUGE, at least as big as a mailbox. I've nick named him Zapata. flehan

Nah, I'm pretty sure that consumption ban is only for Trinity river itself and not the whole Trinity watershed.
