OP MattInDallas Outdoorsman M Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 61 Bedford, Texas	Met up with Ian this morning at his place and set out for Lewisville. The morning started off retarded, I left my hat and drink on the side of the boat (mind you the boat was still on the trailer at the house) Didnt realize it till we got to the gas station. Ian then realized he forgot his bucket with some mandatory stuff back at the house. We go back to the house no hat no drink ... im perplexed as all hell but didnt care as we needed to get to the water. We load up and head down the street and whatcha know my hat right in the middle of the street and right up against the curb is my drink. All is well now. We get to the launch site get the boat in the water and shad are just busting all over the place right then I knew it would be a GREAT day. We hit our first spot set the lines and drift ... boom an 8 lb blue ... not to bad. We drift more then move back up for out second drift then BOOM!!!!!!! Ian slams a hog his new PB Blue right at 20lbs 3rd drift BOOM! My new personal best on Ians rig a 10lb Blue 4th drift we get a dink channel and an 8lb Blue 5th drift BOOM!!!! my 2nd PB on the same day off Ians rig a 15lb Blue!! All in all a great freaking day for a 5hr trip im probably forgetting a few fish but we slammed em. Thanks Ian for the trip brother! We shall do it again SOON!!!
