 Hot Day On The River!

Here are a few pics from my trip on the river yesterday. Adrian from the APT Prostaff joined me.It was hot as could be and the fishing was tough! We managed to land a few at the end of the day to make it all worth it.  Biggest fish of the day.  Adrian making it look easy!  Wish i had gotten a pic of the bald eagle that flew down just in front of us but I was to slow with the camera!

It was very hot, but still a great time. Definitely can't wait to get back and do a little better with the fish next time. Heres the pic of one of your fish joe.

Yeah that was my first time. He sure does! Its a little different fishing, but I'm sure next time we'll get'em. We were probably fishing for the wrong species though, saw a ton of catfish, def should have taken some cat fishing gear. Or even a bowfish rig for some gar.

Rob, we need to get a trip planned. It is fun and is a great change from lakes. Ben, it was the Brazos below Whitney. Socks, nice seeing you. It was a nice paddle. Hotter than heck, but the water did feel good!
