Fish the trees strait across from the county ramp with a tx rig. Fish close to the bank in 1 to 5 feet of water.My setup was
3/8oz weight 4/0 trokar and zoom ol monsters or mag II best colors were blue sapphire and plum apple. Good luck

And fish the outside trees on the main river for bigger fish, straight across where the Veleno dumps into the Rio. Depth should be around 9-10ft deep.

Did you bring a scale with you this time? Hope you did looks like a good one to start a trip with. I thought all anyone had to do at falcon was go out and throw a hook in the water and you would reel in a 8 plus everytime.Lol good luck Charles, I'm jealous you were on fork last week now falcon.

I'm heading there on Wed. I have not been there for a few months.Is the county still good? Also I heard you can not get out of the state park ramp?

County is fine..... State park is not a problem either.... Just need 4x4 and launch off the bank

Thanks. It is going to be a hot one next week. I'm thinking fish the AM then take a frozen rita break in the afternoon then hit it again in the evening.

Also I heard you can not get out of the state park ramp? Nice fish Charlz34  We are still ok as of today at the State Park still launching off the concrete, by the time you arrive next Wed could be another story like Jay said we could be off the bank. Debra

I've been launching off the bank without a problem. Bailed somebody out that did though..... Lol It is much easier I agree...but some folks still like that concrete on their tires, so they don't get stuck... Glad you were there to pull them out Jay... Debra
