I have a tournament at Tyler in three weeks and I have never been on the lake. Does anyone have any good tips for this lake?

It's a fun lake to fish

Grass and docks! Just drop the trolling motor and go fishing

It's tough right now there just like all of the lakes it seems. Grass and docks has produced everything for me this last week. My normal deeper spots for this time of the year have been all but useless since early June.

Do you think they would care if there was grass?

Yep, that's why there is so little now. If they thought there was a single blade of grass they'd be out there spraying it right now.

Jerks.

They won't spray for just any grass, it has to be an "invasive" species like Hydrilla. They won't spray for native grasses.
