Does it take longer to charge batteries with a 3 bank than it does a dual bank charger.

Takes longer to charge 3 batteries vs. 2 no matter what type charger.

Each bank charges at the same rate. Most common is 10amp per bank, but you could get a 15 amp per bank.

not sure that Tbird is right.

3 bank 10 amp will take longer than 3 bank 15 amp

same can be said for 2 bank chargers.

i have the 3/15 also.

Dual Pro charger designs of the last few years I am told is that each charger bank is fully independant of the others (except for the common case and AC power cord).

So one bank/battery has no effect on the charging times of the others.
