My Skeet Reece Swimbait rod has been great for flipping/pitching big worms in heavy hydrilla as well as for swimbaits.

She has a fatal stress fracture...Need a new one.

What would you suggest?

Check out the Power Tackle PG 104.5! The PG104.5-7'6" is the ultimate flipping stick, a cross between the PG104-7'6"and the PG105-7'6". This rod offers the best of both worlds light-weight and quick with all the power to haul them out.

The grass is REALLY heavy. Any fish I catch this time of year has at least 10# of hydrilla with it, even the small ones.

I will look at that 105.

Thanks guys for the good ideas. Reseraching them all right now.

Lots of great rods out there, but I highly recommend you give some serious thought about a Reel Time rod. I can guarantee you wont be disappointed and you'll never have to worry about buying another if it gets a fracture laugh Lifetime Warranty!

Fork fish have come to fear the jig rod. The one I use is $189. Also, you can get a very nice one for $100 if you have tight budget.

Either way you go, good luck.

A custom build by Austin at AMAC Rods. He built me one on an MHX blank and I have yet to find a superior shelf model to beat it. He builds some of the nicest rods around and best of all, they're exactly how you want em.
