Gonna be pretty funny when some of these clowns on here go through a divorce of their own. Im not divorced and dont plan on it, but I am not a complete b&%$# to a man trying to fish and spend time with his kids also.

+1
The divorce decree[as far as visitation] doesn't have to be followed to the letter of the law, it's what involved parties and LEOs fall back on if there's a disagreement. But of course it all depends on wheteher the ex will work w you or not.

P.S. The Bass Club of Fort Worth has their tournaments on the 2nd Saturday except for the classic in December.

Because he is a father putting his kids above his hobby? Look at the stats there are a lot of women/men/fisherman in this state that are divorced with kids and have a visitation schedule. The man is venting and maybe asking for help regarding fishing tournaments, on a fishing forum.???? What???? Something is wrong when he gets made fun of for that.

I don't know of any clubs and trails that work around that myself, sorry.

Just to head off the, sure to follow, comments about my kids and or wife. My kids are, and always will be with me every weekday and weekend so I have no "dog in this hunt". Just don't like seeing a guy get made fun of for having a thought that obviously affects him strong enough for him to reach out to others. I love this forum but this 7th grade way of acting is beneath all of us. It's one thing to joke, I'm all for that, but this goes beyond that.

Ok rant over!!!

Well said. Sad that some folks on here enjoy treating this forum as an online version of "Whack a Mole".

sorry for your luck but if you wa nt to fish there is a tournament scheduled somewhere every weekend of every month. If you just look you will find something to fish. Dont worry about the championships for each trail most of them are just another tournament anyway. My first impression of this thread was just another liberal but maybe not

I would be surprised if media does not jump on the chance to add another division.

This is a funny thread: BVaughn posted a thread asking (venting) about how inconsiderate bass clubs are for not taking his particular schedule into account, instead of just researching various clubs to find one that fits his needs. Then others respond by making fun of him. Then others still get upset for those that made fun?! Am I missing anything? Oh yea, now I'm making fun of those that are upset....this could go on forever! Can't wait to see the next episode of 'As the fishing world turns'!

Actually if we could schedule it around my work that would be great. I can't stop laughing.

Maybe we should ask "Dr. Phil" about this thread?

I would talk to Bud Light or Media's tournament directors about scheduling certain divisions all on the same weekend. They might could do that.
