Going to Fork tomorrow. Haven't been in a couple of weeks. Can we catch some on the bridges or will be have to find some in the timber? Just trying to figure out what to expect.

Thanks for the input and thanks to everyone that writes on this forum helping novices like me do a little better when we go.

Thanks for the help. We didn't get that far south but did fish on the 515W bridge. They were really scattered and hard to catch. Left the bridge about 2 to try some timber but the wind was not blowing at all where we were and the sun was beating down at 104 so we went back to to the bridge to fish in the shade. Managed 8 keepers and the day was fun so we called it a success.

It was funny today. Crappie fisherman were on just about every other bridge piling and the bass boys were working the middles going up and down the bridge. Everyone was moving slow and being very considerate but there sure were a lot of boats in a small area. Guess the bass were schooling some in the shade of the bridge. My wife caugh one she never got turned before it broke off. Another one she landed. It went about 3 lbs. She caught it on my 8 ft. ultralight crappie maxx rod. She had a blast!
