thinking about avoiding the LL idiots and taking my pops to RR saturday morning. he loves to LMB fish. any tips right now?

There must be some kind of tourney out there since no one has replied. I haven't been out there in several weeks but have talked to some guys with mixed reports. Some say it's been brutally tough with others saying they had a great numbers day earlier this week. A buddy of mine said they had 25 fish up to 4# on Tuesday morning fishing points with some rock but said the bite just stopped at 10:30. I have heard the deep bite also vanished for some reason about 2 weeks ago. There was also one of the Tuesday night tourneys won 3 weeks ago with 21# on 3 fish. I have no idea how they were caught. Last time I was out there you could catch some fish in the grass that was in 5-12 feet of water throwing weightless senko type baits.

yeah i was worried about that. but we don't take the boat out often. can they live out of water for a long time?
