does anyone have one?? just the powerhead! May also be interested in a carb'd motor.

also kinda insterested in either a 260 or 300drag.

i have a 99 model fresh rebuild, still setting on the bench zero hours not fired. all standard bore , new pistons ,bearings, machine work by Jim Ruck in ILL, 135 compression all 6 , injectors cleaned ,flowed by Brendan Powers A30 Ecu its clean 60 day warranty if installed and run by me on your boat for a couple of hours motor sold only with a rebuildable exchanged 3500 plus installation

not necessarily. as long as the internals are okay. no windows in the block,etc.

and texas20225.. i aint worried about a warranty!! it's gonna get turned to over 9k rpms on a drag boat!!! smile

this is just something i'm thinking about doing.
depends on what all is out there.

i was thinking the 99 yrs were a 3 liter???

Steve, I think tha production 2.5 was built up ta '06 or '07 best I can remember. They did go ta O-ring and cdm stuff in 2000 though. I can also say one thing about Tex. He does build a damn good motor! Uses "The Best Machine Shop" and New stuff in tha motors..........

What about a New nic, perfect 3.5 clyinders, just a "little" rod slot and chest work (Bill Gore), top pinned Merc 245. Just rotatin' assy.

TLW. think i'll pass on the 3.5 cylinder..LOL

after talking to my friend... think i may go into modified production or just stay in lake racer.

never hurts to locate a good 260 or 300 drag or parts.

btw.. tommy.. i have a CDI computer that i will be selling. came off a stock 260 fishin motor. what's it worth??
need to put it up for sale.

Understand. I've never seen a block like this. No mater where and in any hole ya put tha bore guage its dead nutz on. Gonna fire it in a day or two.

What about a 92 model 200 EFI nothing wrong with it just been sitting for about 4 year it my personal motor injectors will need to cleaned and impeller its on my 391 ranger thinking about selling the boat too ......OPTI

after talking it out and checking out pro stock and super stock. think i'll stay in lake racer or move up to 1400 M/P. i like the bigger motors..LOL

Limit., My mistake my f at fingers its a 361 18.5 ft thatsmight split them up cause engine to large for boat legally..Opti

Yea it gets a little squirrelly on the big end was running a 27 Tempest at 5600 and never got to GPS. My dad never would let me drive when he was with me HAHA......OPTI
